System decontamination

According to the type and extent of the contamination, a full clean-up or a preliminary containment of the source can be carried out. With the stripping process, which is used in many cases, the contaminated groundwater is extracted via wells, channelled through a purification unit and finally drained away using so-called injection wells. This process results in sustained attenuation of the contamination and finally its complete rectification. The advantage of this or other in-situ processes is that they can be implemented immediately and can operate in the long term parallel to operational processes. Ground air extraction is a further possible method. By drilling, the contamination of the ground water can be targeted and removed using highly volatile solvents such as chlorinated and aromatic hydrocarbons. Spreading of the contamination can also be prevented using chambers of defensive wells. This prevents the outflow of contaminant plumes. Often, a combination of these different processes is the method of choice. We have comprehensive experience in all the usual procedures as well as the necessary technology. For years, we have been working together with industrial clients and engineering firms, helping them to solve their problems.
