Geothermal energy is inexhaustible. In terms of availability, it by far exceeds coal, gas and oil reserves and does not emit CO2 or other harmful substances. Geothermal energy is therefore becoming a focus of global interest. We are at the beginning of a global change of focus and the race to develop new technology to more efficiently exploit geothermal energy has only just begun. There has been a real boom in shallow geothermal drilling. However, in many places, the risks involved in drilling through water-bearing horizons have been ignored. Recent events have highlighted the fact that strict quality regulations need to be put in place. Thanks to our research groups, put together for this very purpose, and our wealth of experience, we can provide excellent services. We therefore strive to ensure that both the planning and implementation of all our activities in this pioneering field of energy supply are carried out with the utmost care. |
